Codes

Use these codes to make your presentations. The coloured parts are what you can edit in the HTML Editor (htmledit.squarefree.com). Make sure you close your codes with </p> </span>

Text Codes
Basic Text: <span style="color: #FF1493; font-family: Century Gothic; font-size: 14pt;">Write your text here.
Use on its own, or place at the end of the background code.

Spaced / Squished Text: letter-spacing: 0.0pt;
You need to add this after the font size. If you want the text squished, you have to put a - before the numbers, otherwise the text will spread out. Template Ex) font-size: 16pt; letter-spacing: -4.5pt;">

Text Shadows: text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #000000;
Put this in after letter spacing (squished text) Ex) letter-spacing: -3.4; text-shadow: 2px 3px 4px #000000;">Text here.
Multiple Shadows: text-shadow: 0px 0px 10px #000000, 3px 3px 2px #ff69b4, -3px -3px 2px #8a2be2;
Add in after letter spacing.

Flashing Text: text-decoration: blink;
** Will only flash on Firefox. Add it after Text Shadows. Ex) text-shadow: 3px 3px 3px; #a9a9a9; text-decoration: blink;">Text
Background & Border Codes
Background: <p style="background: #A9A9A9; padding: 0px; margin: 0; text-align: center; line-height: 20px;">
You must put the Basic Text code after this, otherwise it won't work.

Borders: border: solid 3px #000000;
Place this after the <p style=" on the background code.

Multiple Borders: <p style="border: 4px solid #8a2be2; margin: 0pt; padding: 0px; background: rgb(0, 0, 0) none repeat scroll 0% 0%; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; text-align: center; line-height: 30px;"><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family: century gothic; font-size: 40pt; letter-spacing: -6.8pt; text-shadow: 2px -2px 2px;"><p style="border: 4px solid #ff69b4; margin: 0pt; padding: 0px; background: rgb(0, 0, 0) none repeat scroll 0% 0%; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; text-align: center; line-height: 30px;"><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family: century gothic; font-size: 40pt; letter-spacing: -6.8pt; text-shadow: 2px -2px 2px;"><p style="border: 4px solid #000000; margin: 0pt; padding: 0px; background: rgb(0, 0, 0) none repeat scroll 0% 0%; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; text-align: center; line-height: 30px;"><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family: century gothic; font-size: 40pt; letter-spacing: -6.8pt; text-shadow: 2px 8px 2px #ffffff;">Multiple Borders!

Inside Border: <p " style="border: 1px solid #000000; width: 200px; height: 200px; background-color: #B0E0E6; margin: auto; text-align: center;"> Text </p>

 Other Codes
Scrollboxes: <p style="white-space: pre-wrap; word-wrap: break-word; overflow-x: auto; overflow-y: auto; width: 200px; height: 200px; background-color: #ffffff; text-align: center; padding: 0px; margin: auto; border:2px dotted #c0c0c0;">Just add more text and it will scroll! :)

Fading Stripes: <p style="background: #FF1493; padding: 0px; margin: 0; text-align: center; line-height: 1px;">.</p>
Just keep making as many as you like of these and it creates a fading effect. You have to change the colour for each one though, if you want a rainbow, so it can be pretty annoying.

  1. How do you add bigger text in a scroll box then switch to smaller text but still in the scroll box?

  2. After you've got the scrollbox code in the HTML editor, put in the text code and edit it how you like. Then you can put in another text code right after and edit that one too. This should work, but make sure you don't close the first text code.

    YAY! Glad I could help. :)

    @ChickenNinja
    In the code for text, to change the colour you have to change the code in the highlighted part. You can find the colourcodes on the colour sites on the Websites page. To change the font you have to find a font on Word or whatever and take out Century Gothic from the code and put whatever font you want before the ;.

  11. You would have to use the specific codes and put them together the way it says to after each code. Then you have to edit the colours using colour codes found on sites under the websites tab... contact me on Stardoll if you want some extra help. :)

    Club presentations SHOULD work the same, but check out the post in the club, i think it's called Club Presentation Tips!

    About your background... make sure you're using Firefox. If you still have trouble, add blue_liliepops3 on Stardoll and I'll get Chloe to help you out. :)

    To change the background code, you have to change the numbers in pink on the blog here.

    If you don't know how to put the codes together, how can you make presentations?

    1. If you don't understand how to put the codes together, start by following the background & text tutorial under the Lessons page.

  21. Can you put up a code for adding background images to the presentation? I've always wanted to experiment with one of those.
